FAQs

What is FDN?

A holistic discipline that utilizes functional testing to identify imbalances and underlying conditions at the root of most behavioral or health complaints.  It looks at the individual and provides a systematic approach that gives consistent and successful outcomes.

“Our mission at FDN is to educate as many people as possible about how to get well and stay well, naturally, so they may, in turn, educate others.” – Reed Davis

What makes you different from other practitioners?

I spend a lot of time searching for the root causes of imbalances combining functional testing with genetic information to create a customized plan for the client.  I don’t use any one size fits all protocols or diets.  Everything I do is customized to the individual I am working with.

What are you looking for in functional testing?

H.I.D.D.E.N. stressors in hormones, immune, digestive, detox, environment, and neurotransmitters.
What this looks like is food sensitivities, immune dysregulation, inflammation, pathogen overload, mineral imbalance, toxin exposure, adrenal fatigue, nutritional deficiency, genetic mutations, metal exposure, malabsorption, hormone imbalance.

Can you summarize what you do?

I use a detailed intake that leads to functional testing to assess body function.  I then educate my clients in lifestyle changes that bring balance and empower them to stay well.

Are you a physician?

No, I do not treat symptoms or disease.  I educate my clients based off of functional test results to bring balance.
